Response time

We reply within 1–2 business days. If you haven't heard back after that, check your spam folder — our reply occasionally gets filtered. We don't use automated responses for support.

Before you email

Check your spam or junk folder first. The email comes from orders@thresholdplanners.com and occasionally gets filtered, particularly by Outlook and Hotmail accounts.

If it's not in spam after 10 minutes, email us at hello@thresholdplanners.com with your order number (found in your Shopify order confirmation) and we'll resend your download link immediately.

The most common cause: you've opened the planner in a different browser from the one you originally used. The interactive HTML planner autosaves to your browser's local storage — which means the entries are tied to the specific browser on the specific device you used first.

Go back to the browser you originally used (Chrome, Firefox, Edge, etc.) and your entries will be there. If you've cleared your browser's cache or history recently, entries from before that clear may be gone — which is why we recommend saving a PDF backup regularly (File → Print → Save as PDF).

If you're using the PDF version: make sure you opened and saved it using Adobe Acrobat Reader, not a browser viewer. Browser PDF viewers don't always save fill-in entries properly.

Step 1 — Make sure you've extracted the ZIP file first. Your download arrives as a ZIP. Do not open the HTML file from inside the ZIP — extract it first. On Mac: double-click the ZIP. On Windows: right-click → Extract All. Then open the extracted HTML file.

Step 2 — Open it in the right application. If it's showing code or opening in a text editor, right-click the HTML file → Open With → Chrome or Firefox. If no browser appears in the list, open Chrome first, then drag the file into the browser window.

If you're on an iPad or mobile, use Safari or Chrome on the device. The planner is optimised for desktop — some sections may be harder to use on a small screen.

The interactive planner is an HTML file — it opens directly in a browser (Chrome or Firefox recommended). No account, no installation, no internet connection needed after opening.

To open: extract the ZIP → double-click the .html file → it opens in your browser. All text boxes are clickable and type directly. Checkboxes click to check. Date fields open a calendar or accept typed input.

Saving: the planner saves automatically as you type. Always use the same browser on the same device — switching browsers means starting from blank. To back up your entries: File → Print → Save as PDF.

The PDF version is a static document — it can be printed and filled by hand, or filled digitally using a PDF app.

For desktop: download Adobe Acrobat Reader (free at adobe.com) for the best fill-in experience. Fields are clickable and text saves within the file when you use File → Save.

For iPad: GoodNotes or Notability work well. Import the PDF into either app and write or type directly onto the pages. You can also use an Apple Pencil for handwriting.

For printing: open in Acrobat Reader → File → Print → set paper to Letter or A4, margins to None. Enable Background Graphics in More Settings so the dark module pages print correctly.

Note: most browser PDF viewers (Safari's built-in viewer, Chrome's PDF viewer) don't reliably save fill-in entries. Download and open in Acrobat Reader for digital use.

Two settings fix most printing issues:

Margins: set to None or Minimum in the print dialogue. Default browser margins crop the edges of the planner pages.

Background graphics: enable this in More Settings (Chrome) or Advanced (Firefox). Without it, dark module divider pages print white instead of showing the dark background and white text.

The planners are built at Letter size (8.5×11 inches). If you're printing to A4, the browser will scale automatically — this is normal and the content remains readable. Scale can also be manually adjusted in the print dialogue if needed.

Most pre-purchase questions are answered in the FAQ section on each product page — including questions about format, who the planner is for, how it compares to other options, and what happens if it isn't right for you.

If your question isn't there, email us at hello@thresholdplanners.com. We'll give you a straight answer, not a pitch.

You can also download the free companion tool for whichever planner you're considering — it's one complete, functional document sent free on sign-up, so you can see exactly how we work before spending anything.

The interactive HTML planner uses semantic HTML and ARIA labels on interactive elements — it has basic screen reader support. The PDF version is tagged for basic accessibility.

If you need a specific accessibility accommodation or want to check whether the planner will work for your setup before purchasing, email us at hello@thresholdplanners.com and we'll give you a direct answer.
